  become a corporate supporter

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a key phrase today and refers to the relationship between business and charitable organisations and groups within the community.  Indeed there are a number of ways in which your firm or business can help Befriend A Child, while also benefiting in return.

Our corporate supporters help in a number of ways including:

  • Organising an internal fund-raising committee to organise events on our behalf
  • Providing financial donations/sponsorship for specific events eg Summer Outing, Golf Tournament
  • Taking part in some of the many events on our fund-raising calendar.  Click here for the list of up-coming events. See Events List
  • Raising the profile of the charity through company newsletters or intranet
  • Donations in kind such as equipment for our base unit, or arts and crafts material

Of course CSR isn't just about doing the right thing. It also offers direct business benefits for example.

  • A good reputation makes it easier to recruit employees.
  • Employees stay longer, reducing the costs and disruption of recruitment and retraining.
  • Employees are better motivated and more productive.
  • Charitable activities are ideal opportunities to generate positive press coverage.CSR can make you more competitive and reduces the risk of sudden damage to your reputation (and sales). Investors recognise this and are more willing to finance you.

There are many ways to get involved.  If you think you, your employees or your work colleagues can help Befriend A Child then please contact Alan or Duncan on 01224 210060.
